Our Proven Steam Cleaning Process

1.     Pre-inspection. Before each job, we like to walk through it with our customers. During this time, we will point out potential problem areas and get honest recommendations based on our findings.

2.     Vacuum. Vacuuming is the most powerful method of removing soil from carpets, which is why we start each clean with a thorough vacuuming. Our vacuums have HEPA filtration to prevent dust from going airborne. Preventing the dust from being suspended in the air also prevents that dust from resettling in the carpets after we have steam-cleaned your floors.

3.     Urine Treatment. If we are treating for urine, this is the point we go through with our black-light locating urine spots. We then apply enzyme treatment. We allow that time to dwell and break down those urine crystals before extracting them with hot water.

4.     Pre-spray. At this stage of cleaning, we apply an alkaline pre-spray. We allow this to dwell for a time, allowing that chemistry to work. This helps remove the soil from the fibers of your carpet.

5.     Extraction. At this point, we see the magic happen. We use the hot water and powerful vacuum from our TruckMounted steam cleaner. The extraction removes the dirt, grease and pre-sprays, leaving beautiful, clean carpets.

6.     Spot Cleaning. Our approach to spots and stains varies depending on what we are treating. Typically, though, we spot treat after the extraction process.

7.     Drying. We place floor fans to jumpstart the carpet drying process.

8.     Post-Inspection. The final step is to walk through the customer, ensuring they are satisfied.
